People celebrate ‘Pak Lat Songkran Festival,’ also known as Songkran Phra Pradaeng (สงกรานต์พระประแดง), another version of Songkran, the traditional Thai New Year celebration. This festival, celebrated in Samut Prakan Province, more closely represents the history of ethnic Mon people from both Myanmar (Burma) and Thailand.
